New BIM film showcases Dane's Yard
Vastint UK and Bryden Wood launch comprehensive model of Sugar House Island which moves BIM in to the future and has been featured in BIM+.
The BIM project was highly unusual for its complexity and scale, and is the largest and most complex ever undertaken by the tech-led design company Bryden Wood. The full BIM incorporates the design and construction of 1.2km of new river wall, the remediation and cut and fill of soils, the design and installation of infrastructure as well as the design of all buildings and surrounding landscape.
The video was produced to give a real life impression of the first part of Sugar House Island to launch.
Dane’s Yard is a collection of eight new and old buildings preserving the yards and alleyways which once stood in this conservation area. It will be home to creative industries, kick starting Vastint UK’s commitment to bringing 2,500 jobs to the Stratford area.
The film of Dane’s Yard is an output from a fully-integrated 3D BIM model which was commissioned to cover the Sugar House Island development.
