Local area review - Roof East
Located on top of the Stratford Centre, just a short 15-minute walk from Sugar House Island, you’ll find ‘Roof East’, an open air adventure playground for grown ups.
Access to Roof East is through the Stratford Centre via one of the slowest set of lifts in east London, but don’t let the journey up put you off! As soon as you step out onto the roof you’ll be drawn in by its fun and lively atmosphere. There are bars, food stalls, a rooftop cinema and plenty of games to keep you entertained.
So whether you want to relax and watch the sunset with a cocktail or two after a long day at work, or compete against friends in a game of hip hop lawn bowls, or try your hand in a round of crazy golf, there really is something for everyone here.
Roof East is open for summer until 30th September, for more information visit the website.
