Sugar House Island will deliver 1,200 homes. With a healthy mix, from studios to four-bedroom homes, and with 40% being three-bed or more, we are seeking to make this a place people call home, with a diverse, thriving, long-term community.
Five different architects are designing the homes across the scheme to make different buildings feel distinct from each other. This is part of our vision to create a place which is characterful, connected into its heritage and local context, as well as thoughtfully designed.
The homes are an average of five storeys high, built around garden courtyards or overlooking parks and rivers. The network of streets will feel low scale, and cars will park in basement car parks, making the area feel calm and safe.
The gardens offer excellent amenity, supplemented by balconies and roof terraces; so everyone can enjoy outdoor space.
Homes are designed to feel spacious and open. They have high ceilings and large windows and generous storage areas, making this a pleasant, relaxed place to live, close to the heart of Central London.
Sugar House Island is designed to be an integrated living and working community. The independent bars and restaurants are for workers and residents alike to enjoy.
Botanical Mews, the first phase, is set against the backdrop of Three Mills Wall River, and will launch 140 homes in spring 2020.
